Welcome to Salisbury Middle
Welcome to the Salisbury Middle School web page!

Congratulations to our incoming National Junior Honor Society students.  The induction will be held Monday, May 21st

We will hold a Meet and Greet for current Innovator students in grades 6 and 7 to introduce students and parents to next year’s team.  The meet and greet will take place in the cafeteria tomorrow, Monday, May 21st at 5:30 PM.

Our Chorus students will have their Spring performances this week.  Grade 6 will perform on Tuesday, May 22nd and our 7th and 8th grade students will perform on Wednesday, May 23rd.  Both concerts will begin at 7:00 PM.

We wish our Band and Chorus the best on Friday as they travel to Musicale and Busch Gardens.  We look forward to hearing about their great performance!

Congratulations to Cedrick Jung for a wonderful performance at the Orchestra State Solo & Ensemble this past Saturday, May 12 in Arnold, Maryland. Cedrick received an 'Excellent' rating for his solo performance.  We are so proud of his hard work and dedication that led to his great accomplishment!

“Just a reminder from the School Nurse…
To all the current 6th grade parents:  in order for your child to enter 7th grade, they must have a Tdap booster and MCV immunization.  This is a State of MD requirement.  It is YOUR responsibility,  to make sure the school has a current and updated copy of your child’s immunization record. If you have any questions,  please call the school and ask for Nurse Kellie”.

Salisbury Middle School has teamed with the Maryland Food Bank to offer the School Pantry Program to our students and families.  Each Friday students can bring home a variety of foods in their book bags.  Salisbury Middle School will also distribute food to our students and families in need throughout the week and will distribute food during large evening events.  Everyone qualifies for this program.  If you need assistance or have questions about our food pantry, please feel free to contact Salisbury Middle School and ask for Mrs. Glover or Ms. Redden.

Please be reminded that students are not permitted to wear hoods, coats and backpacks while in the school building.  In addition, students are not permitted to have food or drink items outside of the cafeteria.  We appreciate your support as we strive to ensure and safe environment conducive to learning.
