Welcome to Salisbury Middle
Welcome to the Salisbury Middle School web page!

We would like to congratulate Gianluca Secondi for earning the opportunity to play soccer in Scotland as a part of the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association’s Olympic Development Program.

We wish the best to our Orchestra, Band, and Chorus students as they compete at the District Festival this week.  Our Orchestra performs on Tuesday, Band on Thursday, and Chorus competes on Friday.

Our SMS Mathcounts Team participated in the Maryland State Competition on Saturday at Johns Hopkins University.

SMS students Ishaan Chakroborty, Rosy Gao, and Liam Hornstein joined 231 middle school math students, representing the best of our best from 66 middle schools throughout the state of Maryland, competed in a rigorous day of mathematics.

Rosy Gao finished in the top 25% in the state.  Not only was Rosy the only student from Maryland's Eastern Shore to place in the top 25%, but she was one of only 5 female mathletes to place that high.

Congratulations to all 3 of these excellent math students, who with the support of their parents and families, represented Wicomico County Public Schools in fine fashion.  Also, special thanks to Mr. Minner and Glenn Hornstein for helping us bring this great opportunity to our students.
